About Me
I am a costume designer based in Hamburg, born and raised in the Austrian mountainside. I studied Fine Arts and Photography in Vienna, Fashion Design in Hamburg and I hold a master’s degree in Costume Design from UDK Berlin. I have been working in the independent Performing Art Scene since 2015. I have collaborated with choreographers like Ursina Tossi, Heinrich Horwitz, Barbara Schmidt-Rohr, Mab Cardoso and Veza Maria Fernandez. During my professional career I have also been involved in a variety of projects in advertising, photo shoots and music videos. My most recent reference in film is as an assistant costume designer for the feature film „Blutsauger“ by Julian Radlmaier.
My Work
I take a holistic approach to my work based on my areas of education and experience. My work process is developed in dialogue with my partners and includes research, conception and the design of the final product. I try to rely on sustainable production and responsible use of materials.
I am interested in collaborations that allow for cross media exchange in different fields of performing and fine arts, design and music. I see every new production as an opportunity to challenge myself and I appreciate working with new project partners. Feel free to contact me for a consultation on possible future projects.
