BLUE MOON

# Bodies in Turmoil

Image from the project BLUE MOON
The werewolf is neither human nor animal. She is phantasm. She lives. She has animal power, her body makes structural violence visible – and reverses it. She rebels, she eats, she is completely free. She threatens the community. She is an enemy. She seduces. She hunts. Her body is a weapon. Through the possibility of transformation she escapes the influence of controlling, but also communal instances. Her body transforms everything around her into wilderness: everywhere around her it begins to proliferate, to grow, to sprawl. Everything becomes eerie and darkness spreads. BLUE MOON plays with the figure of the werewolf and its pop cultural meanings from horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. After the successful premiere at Kampnagel last fall, the work can now be seen for a second time as part of the Hauptsache frei festival, which is already showing works from Hamburg’s independent scene at various venues for the fifth time. latest critique / please read!: http://www.taz.de/!5389977/
